Say goodbye to cellulite with these tips
I don't know if there's any woman not interested on the topic of cellulite. According to a study, 85% of women suffer from this condition. This could mean that there are a few women who may not be interested of treating cellulite because they've been blessed not to have it, but they represent only a minority.
Best simple ways to remove cellulite
Once you have learned what you need to eat to get rid of cellulite, how body wraps and massages help and even what sports to do in order to reduce cellulite, it's time to discover some small tricks that help to keep cellulite away.
1. Don't stress out over it
maybe you didn't know this, but stress not only affects you mentally but it also takes its toll on your body. According to research, stress hormones (especially insulin and cortisol) affect how fat cells work, the ones that are responsible for the appearance of cellulite. So take it easier, relax, get rid of the stress in you life and maybe you'll be able to get rid of the cellulite on your body this way too.
2. Stop wearing tight pants
Tight pants are sexy and make you look better, especially if we talk about jeans (which probably represents almost daily wear for some of us). But has it ever crossed your mind that tight jeans could be the cause of your cellulite ? They slow down blood circulation and lymphatic flow in the areas most affected by cellulite: buttocks, thighs and legs. Not getting enough oxygen and toxins not being properly removed, cellulite may increase in its appearance by the day. So, try to give up on the tight clothes at least on a day or another.
3. Underwear with an elastic band
In the same category falls the elastic band underwear. That elastic band at the top is a no-no if you want to prevent and cure cellulite. It is preferred that the top of the panties you wear to be made from lace or something soft in order to not exert any sort of pressure on the body.
4. Give up smoking
If you needed yet another reason why you should stop smoking, you just found one : women who smoke are more prone to cellulite than non-smokers. Smoking drastically reduces the oxygenation of the whole body, instead of the much needed oxygen, the tissues are bombarded with toxins from cigarette smoke that worsens the appearance of the cottage cheese look.
5. Drink less coffee
Coffee is very good for health, but only if consumed in moderate amounts. If you overdo on the coffee consumption, cellulite will always be by your side and we wouldn't want that to happen, now would we? I know what you're going to say. Many of the cellulite products contain caffeine so why exactly can't you drink it to get rid of cellulite, well things just don't work that way. Caffeine increases the level of cortisol, known as the stress hormone, and insulin levels in the body. Also, too much coffee prevents proper blood circulation and toxins remain locked in the tissues and skin. So do not drink more than two cups of coffee daily.
6. Get up from that chair
The eight hour job which implies sitting in a chair, at the office could be leading to some serious circulatory problems, but could also increase your level of cellulite. And if you don't exercise even on other occasions, on a regular basis, cellulite becomes more visible and more difficult to remove. Ideally, an hour of sitting on a chair requires you to have a 10 minute break meant for you to do some exercise. Get out of the office and climb some stairs. This simple exercise will help you.
7. Reduce your salt intake
Salt is our biggest enemy when it comes to a cellulite reducing diet. Your body gets dehydrated by the effort it puts in in order to reduce the excess sodium. And for it to remove all the sodium it will need more and more water, so it blocks it in the tissues, which accentuates the appearance of the orange peel look.
8. Birth control causes water retention
It appears that a secondary effect caused by birth control is cellulite. This is not confirmed by the doctors, but many people who use them have found that the cottage cheese appearance worsened when they began to use contraceptives. So if you do not know where you're cellulite came from (provided that you've followed all the rules ) maybe it's necessary to think a little bit better. The explanation is simple, birth control pills interfere with the body's hormonal circuit and promote water retention in some women, leading either to the appearance of cellulite, either the worsening of it in the areas where it already existed.
